Company Background

Prism is based in the historic market town of St. Ives in Cambridgeshire, within minutes of the A1/A14 junction which provides access to the key national east-west and north-south arteries. Customers served are based throughout the UK and finished products are shipped nation-wide, to continental Europe and to North America.

Prism offer a wide range of electronics manufacturing services with full engineering support, concentrating on long-term partnership relationships with each customer. Prism focus on the production of modest volumes of complex products.

Prism is an active member of Intellect, the AIMS network and the SMART group. Each of these provides important benchmarking opportunities and examples of best practices of the industry.

In 2007 Prism expanded its production capacity to support customers who are predicting significant growth in product volumes. Investments in its own plant, plus an agreement with one of South Africa’s leading contract electronics manufacturers, mean that Prism is now able to offer economical higher volume production than was previously possible. Customer service, manufacturing services and engineering support are provided locally by Prism in St. Ives with production taking place either in St. Ives or in South Africa as appropriate.
