An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Team Leader to be responsible for the purchasing, inventory and supply of materials for our busy production department. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a “hands-on” materials planning, purchasing and management role combined with the management and administration of people and processes within the Logistics Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Logistics Team’s planning and provision of works orders and materials to enable customer sales orders and supply agreement commitments to be met on-time, in-full and within quoted materials costs. An enthusiasm for continuous improvement will be essential alongside the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfil this demanding role.
